The location here is amazing and just right, with the nearest shop being 8 miles away; the staff are friendly and polite.

This property was just what we needed.

Had a fab stay for overnight visit. The hotel was in a remote setting near the lake. We had spotless and airy room and there was a soft bed.

Nice room with super shower. Unbeatable location in Tavern excellent with views of the garden and the lake. Based short walk to a taxi into Keswick.

Well-maintained hotel with good quality rooms managed by friendly and efficient staff. the room we booked for 1 night had a patio, a safe, and a kettle. - We enjoyed the central location next to Ambleside and the South Lakes...

High-class hotel in a beautiful area just off the restaurant instead of the bar as well as the Lake District. Spacious room, large bed and spotless bathroom. Pleasant and cosy location, within walking distance of everywhere. Plus, 10 minutes drive from St John's...

The location in the lake district was exceptionally nice. Spectacular views, the breakfast was warm with croissants and local meats and fruit😀

This venue is well-kept and has welcoming staff at the front desk; the meals are exceptional and the restaurant's location is convenient for guests.

We enjoyed a delicious hot breakfast with a side of fresh fruit in the bar area.

Food poor, my starter garlic bread came as we were finishing our main meal. The volume of peas on my plate was more than the rest of the meal. No Jacuzzi,

Breakfast was massive and delicious. The views from the hotel were splendid.- The location of the hotel was magnificent, being so close to the park.- The staff at the reception desk were friendly, efficient, and extremely helpful....  

I ate at a cosy restaurant with excellent menu for breakfast and dinner. The location was stunning and amazing, staff were reasonably good.

The accommodation is well-maintained and of high quality. The hotel is conveniently located near the bar/restaurant and the first signposted turn-off to the Lake District from the M6.- The reception team is well-managed.- The continental breakfasts are delicious, and the Wi-Fi is reliable.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bar food was expensive and the quality did not match the prices. Homemade beefburger did not appear or taste like one.
